ABOUT CONFERENCE...

For the seventh year in a row we try to highlight the importance of information security among Slovene companies and organizations by organizing several INFOSEK conferences. The main objective of these conferences is to improve information security awareness among the employees which is of key importance considering the ever growing independence on information technology. On the 19th and 20th of November we shall mark the seventh organization of our major event in Nova Gorica. The conference shall take place for two days, namely in international cooperation with European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA).

The centre of attention of INFOSEK 2009 conference is reserved for the following topics:

• Information security and business continuity management
• Business Continuity Management
• Data security
• Computer forensics
• Computer network security
• Application security

International cooperation with ENISA stress out also:

• Improving resilience in European e-Communication networks
• Developing and maintaining co-operation between Member States
• Identifying emerging risks for creating trust and confidence
• Building information confidence with micro enterprises

Our biggest happening is an opportunity for all participants to be acquainted with newest trends and cognitions brought by information security in Slovenia and entire Europe. Beside influent lecturer from leading Slovenian enterprises and institutions we always invite some famous foreign lecturer. The program of Conference contains present, topical contents (administrational, technical, etc.) from Information - Communication technology and safety aspects on this contents.

Moreover, Conference is great occasion for all offerers of Information Security solutions. They have an opportunity to present their services to goal public, assembled on one place.
Beside interesting program we also assure an entertainment between the course of Conference and also a diverting sociable evening, full of culinary enjoyment and performance, singing and dancing show, with some special guests. Entertaining evening is a good chance to create some good partnership.

The conference Infosek is organized 
in cooperation with the municipality of Nova Gorica.

• directors of Information sector, systemically administrators and others employed in an occupation of Informatics;
• directors of Companies, members of management, members of supervisory committees in public and private organizations who would like to come to know the way of thinking that Informatics professionals do;
• ll others, interested in sphere of Information Security and would like to gain new trends and enlarge their professional skills.
